DGS wins Morton/Proviso East Triangular!

On Monday, Sept.23rd, the DGS girls cross country team defeated Morton & Proviso East in a meet held at O’Brien Park. The host Mustangs won the double dual meet with identical 15-50 scores on our home course. Our girls finished in the first 9 spots led by individual winner, Dana Rodden (Fr). She was followed into the chute by Nora Joy (Fr), Madelyn Sumlin (Fr), Madison Wies (Jr), Skyler Tomecki (Fr), Maya Wilson (Fr), and Arianna DeLeon (Fr) scoring the top 7 places for DGS. The Mustangs improve to 4-0 in the WSC Gold Conference and stay undefeated on the season. The varsity travels to Casa Grande, Arizona on Friday to compete in the Nike Desert Twilight Invitational. The F/S and JV teams will travel to Naperville North on Friday to compete in the Naperville Invitational.
