On to Peoria…
1 min readOn Saturday, Sept.12, the Mustangs will travel to Peoria’s Detweiller Park for the ‘First to the Finish’ Invitational. This meet is the first of three large invitational meets that will take place on the IHSA State meet course.
Competition at this meet will be fierce as 8 of the top 10 ranked 3A teams in the state will be in attendance along with 5-6 other top 25 teams. DGS is currently ranked #19 in the state according to DyeStatIL.
Our schedule is as follows:
- 7:00a leave DGS
- 11:40a 3A Varsity Girls race
- 1:00p Open Race
- 6:00p approx return to DGS
