Project Linus

On Saturday, Feb. 6th, the DGS Girls Track & Field team will come together to make blankets as a team service project. The blankets will be donated to Project Linus, a non-profit organization who’s mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, hand-made blankets.
The team will meet from 8-10 am at the Spike Shed, the Nike sponsored team center located in the basement of the Naperville Running Company in downtown Naperville (34 W. Jefferson Ave).
The team is accepting donations in order to purchase blanket making supplies. If you wish to make a donation, please see Coach Sanders or any team captain at the Feb. 4th Parent Meeting / Team Time Trials night.
