Senior Night Pictures & Meet Results!

The DGS girls cross country team hosted our final home meet of the season yesterday at O’Brien Park versus Morton. The Mustangs easily dominated the meet, having the first 10 finishers in the race that had 111 total runners. Gillian Thomas (Jr) was the individual winner, completing the 3-mile course in 19:39.

Allison Calek (So) finished in 2nd place (20:46) and led a pack of 5 Mustangs that finished in the next 5 places. Megan Albers (Sr) was 3rd in 20:47, Julie LaLonde (So) was 4th in 20:48, Riya Bhasin (Jr) was 5th in 20:56, and Victoria Protsyuk (Sr) was 6th in 20:58.  Complete DGS individual results/splits can be found on the Schedule/Results page.

This meet was also our Senior Night and our 10 senior athletes were introduced in a short ceremony following the race. The DGS drum line also performed during the boys and girls races. Pictures of our seniors and from the races can be found on the Pictures/Video page.
