DGS defeats Morton & Leyden
1 min readOn Monday, the DGS girls cross country team easily defeated both Morton and Leyden in our first dual meet of the year. A total of 163 girls completed the 3-mile race and Michaela Hackbarth (Sr) took 1st place overall in her 2015 CC season debut with a time of 19:55. Becky Versaskas (Fr) and Gillian Thomas (So) completed the 1-2-3 DGS sweep by finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. Complete individual results can be found HERE.
The Mustangs will race next this Saturday at the Fenton ‘Earlybird’ Invite in Bensenville. The varsity race is at 9:00am, the F/S race is at 10:40am, and the Open race is at 11:45am.
